SUBMIT YOUR CATCH

Caught a special fish using JH Baits or created a great product shot? Share your catch report and photos with us for a chance to be featured on the JH Baits Europe website and social media channels.

The better the information and photos we receive, the better we can turn your catch into high-quality content that does your result justice.

PHOTO GUIDELINES

Portrait-format photos are strongly preferred for social media. Make sure both the angler and the fish are well positioned in the frame, with the fish fully visible and ideally centred.

A smartphone or dedicated camera can both produce excellent results. What matters is that the image is sharp, properly exposed and submitted in the best possible quality.

Please upload the original image where possible. Avoid screenshots, heavily compressed copies and photos that have first been sent through WhatsApp or Messenger.

✓ Sharp and in focus
✓ Fish fully visible
✓ Portrait orientation preferred
✓ Clean background where possible
✓ Original/high-quality file
✓ JH Baits clothing visible where possible

BUILD A STRONG SOCIAL MEDIA POST

The strongest submissions give us more than one image to work with. Where possible, combine a strong portrait-format catch photo with a clear photo of the JH Baits product or bait used.

Atmosphere and session images are also very valuable. Think of the swim, rods, baiting, sunrise or sunset, preparation, product details or other moments that help show the full experience of the session.

A product photo can show the boilies, hookbait, pellets, liquid or other JH Baits products used during the session. Keep the image clean, sharp and natural, with the branding clearly visible.

Product photos are also welcome on their own. A good product image does not always need to include a catch.

✓ Strong portrait catch photo
✓ Clear photo of the product(s) used
✓ Atmosphere or session images
✓ Detail shots where relevant

FISH WELFARE ALWAYS COMES FIRST

The well-being of the fish is always more important than getting the perfect photo. Never keep a fish out of the water longer just to improve a picture.

If the fish is not calm, the conditions are not right or the photo simply is not working, return the fish safely. No photo is ever more important than the fish.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR CATCH REPORT

Keep it simple, but give us enough information to tell the story behind your catch.

✓ Your name and country
✓ Venue, if you are happy to share it
✓ JH Baits product(s) used
✓ A short story about the catch
✓ Your best catch and product photos
✓ Your Facebook or Instagram account if you would like us to tag you

A few useful details about the session, conditions, weight, baiting approach or why the catch was special can make a big difference when we create the social media post.

A strong catch photo together with a clear image of the products used gives us much more to work with when creating a professional social media post.

WHY THESE GUIDELINES?

We want every catch we share through JH Baits Europe to reflect the quality of our anglers, our products and our brand.

Clear information and strong photos allow us to create better social media content and give your catch the presentation it deserves.

These guidelines are not about making fishing overly serious. It is still our hobby and it should remain enjoyable. They simply help us make the most of the great catches and content our community already produces.
